Let us take a look into Skydiving Adventure sport :

Skydiving – It’s a great adventure sport for anyone who has ever dreamed of flying. It’s an action sport of jumping out of a plane and coming back to earth with the help of gravity, while using a parachute. It may or may not involve the free-fall. This sport involves the highest level of risk. In this, a person gets to jump from a plane or a helicopter from an altitude ranging from 1000 to 4000 meters. If a person is jumping from a low altitude, such as 600 – 1000 meters, the parachute is then deployed immediately. However, if you diving from a plane at a higher altitude, you have the luxury to fall freely without deploying the parachute for a short period of time. This gives you an ultimate flying experience. Although, the risk is very high and this is a dangerous sport, but the sense of accomplishment you would feel when you reach the ground safely would be beyond belief.

To participate in this kind of adventure sport, proper training is highly imperative. There are various training methods –

·Tandem skydive – The first jump would be with an experienced instructor, this method of training is known tandem skydive.

·There are other methods of training as well, these are known as Static line, IAD (Instructor Assisted Deployment) and AFF (Accelerated Free fall) also called as PFF (Progressive free fall) in Canada.

Once, you have received your training from an experienced instructor and attained good experience of diving with your instructor. Then, you can dive on your own. This would be an experience you will never forget in your whole life.
